Where is my decision data stored?
In your browser's local storage only. There's no account and no server-side database — nothing you type is sent anywhere. That also means clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching devices will not carry your journal with it, since there's nothing central to sync from.
How is the weighted score calculated?
Every option gets a score from 1 to 5 on each criterion you defined. Nevco multiplies each score by that criterion's weight (also 1–5), adds the results together, and divides by the total weight. That gives every option one comparable number on a 1–5 scale, so the ranking reflects both how well an option performs and how much each factor matters to you.
Does Nevco tell me what to do?
It tells you what the numbers say based on the weights and scores you entered — nothing more. The final decision, including whether to override the ranking, is always yours. Logging when you agreed or disagreed with the ranking is actually one of the most useful parts of the journal.
What happens when a reminder comes due?
Nevco doesn't send notifications outside the browser. When you open the Journal page after a reminder date has passed, that entry is marked "Ready to review" so you can log the outcome. Bookmarking the Journal page or checking back periodically is the best way to use it.
Is Nevco free?
Yes, in full — the decision tool, the journal, and the pattern stats. There is no paid tier at this time.
Can I use Nevco on my phone?
Yes, the whole site is designed for touch and small screens. Just remember local storage is device- and browser-specific, so a decision started on your phone won't show up on a desktop browser.
