Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

The short version

The content of your decisions — titles, options, criteria, scores, and outcome notes — is stored only in your browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to Nevco or any third party as part of using the tool. We do not require an account, an email address, or any personal information to use the decision tool or journal.

What "local storage" means in practice

Local storage is a small database built into your browser, scoped to this website. It is not a cloud account. That means: your journal is tied to one browser on one device; clearing your browsing data, using a different browser, or switching devices will not carry your entries over; and Nevco itself has no way to see, back up, or recover this data, because it never reaches us.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious, aggregated analytics (such as page-view counts) to understand which pages are useful and to fix broken experiences. This does not include the content of anything you enter into the decision tool or journal.

Advertising

Nevco intends to display advertising, to support the cost of running the site. Advertising partners such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can learn about and adjust Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com, and more generally about interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Cookies

Aside from anything set by analytics or advertising providers described above, Nevco does not use cookies to track you across sites for its own purposes.

Children's privacy

Nevco is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
